Statement:
Island County is a great place to live and work. The people here are active and informed and deserve fair, balanced leadership, leaders with the pulse of the community at their fingertips and the experience to get things done.
Now more than ever our Island County Commissioners need a plan to create a more sustainable economy here that will help us pay for future health and safety without raising taxes or sacrificing the environment. We can do this. We need a business friendly environment at Island County. We also need to move more people, goods and services on and off our islands with less congestion using existing transit, ferry runs and park and rides.
The political parties have created distractions with their agendas that have stalled county government.
As a proven non-partisan official in our community for over 25 years, I’m offering a unique opportunity to elect an experienced leader not beholding to a political party’s agenda.
